The following quotation resonates splendidly with the Peace Mantra:
(Dalai Lama)
(Dorothy Thompson)
Peace is a word
To a child
Searching for me
You look everywhere
Except beside you
Searching for you
You look everywhere
But not inside you
Peace is a stream
Peace is a dawn
On a day without end
Peace is the end, like death
(by Pete Sinfield from King Crimson's album 'In The Wake Of Poseidon)
If you could only open your door
you'd see everything and everyone
as a friend in your home.
At that moment, Jacob would see his son.
At that moment, the cupbearer of Union
would serve you God's glorious wine.
That beauty would show his face and say,
'I am the one who see you, who loves you.
Since you are open to my blessings,
you need no longer be afraid of anything.'
No one there feels jealous
of anyone else's attainments.
In the soul's garden, everyone is happy.
(from 'The Forbidden Rumi': translations and commentary by
Nevit O. Ergin and Will Johnson)
(Mother Teresa)
We have been delighted and encouraged to read the many positive reactions to the website, and to the work we are doing. These comments have come not only from Cornwall and the UK, but from many parts of the world. The following comes from a lovely friend living in Prague: the message itself reads like a prayer:-
Dear Friends of the heart, I have explored your beautiful website. As I went to all the different links I felt my heart growing larger and larger, and felt waves of love entering my heart and also being sent out from my heart. Dear friends of the heart, May you be blessed in the beautiful work you are doing. Your lovely website brought about a deep exchange of waves of love and peace. May the whole planet be wrapped in such a mantle.

Let us see every person in the world as our sister or our brother.
There is no essential difference between any religion, any culture, any colour, or any country: all are equal.
When a problem occurs, let us at once try to find an effective solution. By studying and analysing every aspect of the problem, we can gain a true understanding of it; this helps to prevent it happening again.
Forgiveness is a basic characteristic of peace.
(Abdul Halim, writing from Damascus)
The candle of peace is within you
Find it
Nurture it
Become One
Your deeds will inspire others,
Fanning their inner flame.
Together we form a beacon.
Peace on Earth.
